...Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 1 am to 9 am EST Wednesday for Northeast Florida...

The national weather service in Jacksonville has issued a wind chill advisory...which is in effect from 1 am to 9 am EST Wednesday.

Cold temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s will combine with winds at 10 to 15 mph to produce wind chills in 20 to 25 degree range after midnight tonight and early Wednesday morning.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors...make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
