Some are thinking
the old patterns
are returning,
the rain patterns,
the afternoon thunderstorms
that drift in,
or sometimes run in,
from the west,
with enough force
to push them over
the Alachua plain
and across the St. Johns River
and through the pine flats
and then clear out
into the ocean.
